JOB FUCTION AND SCOPE
Provide Engineering design and manufacturing support to advance robotic utilization by plant operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Robotic Process (40%)
- Direct and coordinate the enchanting purchase and installation of integrated robotic polishing equipment.
- Craft and cast robotic spells using simulation software like Roboguide or 3D CAD to simulate the magical robotic process.
- Implement magical changes in casting, machining, polishing, and injection mold departments for ultimate automation.
- Join project kick-offs and design reviews to sprinkle your technical expertise and experienced feedback.
- Make recommendations to enhance quality and lower design and manufacturing costs.
- Show off your verbal and written magic using Microsoft Office spells to develop work and training instructions.
- Assist in developing outside vendors to capture magical data and provide useful analytics for process improvement.
- Propose continuous improvement projects, big and small, for both equipment and part processing.
- Create 3D models for equipment installation, work-holding grippers, and part presence equipment using the magic of SolidWorks.
- Conduct magical analyses to achieve "right the first time" solutions with FEMA and other enchanting tools.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
- 🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Magic!
- 3+ years of Manufacturing wizardry
- 1-3 years of Automation experience
- 1+ years of SolidWork/CAD experience
- 🤖 Robotic programming experience with Fanuc, and a sprinkle of Roboguide familiarity
- Foundry related metals processing experience
- Ability to read schematics like a magical scroll
