The Corporate Controlling Team based in the headquarter in Rapperswil-Jona, aspires to make information easily available for their stakeholders to enable a fact-based business decision process. With that in mind, the role of the Business Analyst / Front-End Designer is to design, create, automate, and continuously improve reporting capabilities that are flexible to address diverse business needs. Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Work closely with the business and IT to continuously improve current or develop new reporting (static & dynamic) to increase efficiencies and improve quality of reports
  • Demonstrate benefits of new tools and technology to land them in the wider organization
  • Support the business process and solution architecture design sessions
  • Consolidate reporting requirements of the business to set group-wide reporting standards
  • Create powerful self-service reports and dashboards to lower the need for local solutions
  • Perform design, prototype, configuration, and organize testing to fulfil reporting requirements of various functions with focus on finance, operation and sales
  • Ensure compliance to security standards
  • Organize and lead steering committee with stakeholders of various functions
  • Ensure continuous usage of centrally provided reports through proper engagement meetings
  • Document processes, create user-guides and provide user trainings 


For this exciting and challenging position, we expect you to have at least 3 years of relevant working experience. Experience in agile managed projects is a plus. Furthermore, you fulfill the following requirements:
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to communicate with senior managers, including negotiation and influencing skills at global scale
  • Proven experience to design high quality reporting solutions with SAP Analytics Cloud (preferred), Tableau or other up-to-date Front-End Tools
  • Understand database design/architecture concepts and data management principles
  • Business process knowledge in finance, operations and sales is a plus
  • Flexible, proactive, naturally curious and collaborative, not afraid to step up and share your knowledge with various functions in the business
  • Strong eye to detail
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus
