JOB FUNCTION AND SCOPE
This position will assist the Senior IT Application Analyst SAP with coordination of all Geberit IT system standards and requirements across the three manufacturing plants and the Des Plaines office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Systems Interface (30%)
- Act as liaison with other company departments as it pertains to SAP.
- Act as liaison with other company departments and external Partners for our Webpage and Web Portals.
- Act as liaison between other company departments and external Partners for EDI.
- Manage and monitor the SAP PO/PI/XI EDI solution.
- Facility Support (40%)
- Design and implement interfaces required to integrate other manufacturing processes to SAP.
- Provide analytical support of SAP business systems to assure efficient operation of modules.
- Analyze user request for assistance and determine how to respond with timely and effective solutions to resolve issues.
- Pursue opportunities for continuous improvement in system design and utilization.
- Systems Development (20%)
- Must stay current with technology plan changes for systems software, telephone and security systems.
- Pursue opportunities to electronically transmit business with trading partners by expanding EDI and use of the internet.
- Perform administrative reporting requirements.
- Adhere to Geberit IT policies and guidelines.
- All other duties as assigned (10%)

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or IT.
- Minimum 5 years of wide-ranging experience in an ERP supported business environment including SAP S/4 Hana, SAP-ECC, SAP BW, and BO.
- Experience with SAP Modules – SD, MM, PP, FI, CO, PM.
- 3 + years of experience in systems analysis and design, project management, file/data base design and development.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or IT.
- Experience with global enterprises and cross functional projects.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
- Experience with Cloud Solutions.
- Experience with SAP Development – ABAP, Debugging.
- Experience with EDI in general as well as SAP PO/PI/XI.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Possesses ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or technical manuals.
- Ability required in the writing of routine reports, business correspondence, and documenting IT procedures.

- Ability to train new team members as needed.
- Possesses good verbal communication skills.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Possesses good technical and analytical skills.
- Ability to check for accuracy of reports, forms, records and comparable data, where interpretation is required.
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiplies and divides numbers, including decimals and fractions.

- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

While performing the responsibilities of the job the employee must remain stationary approximately 60% of the time. They must frequently move about the office to access equipment and communicate with other employees. Occasionally transports computer equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the noise level within the office is minimal. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Will be required to sometimes work on the factory floor where hearing, foot and vision protection may be necessary. This position requires up to 20% travel to local manufacturing facilities.
