Ceramic Technology Manager

GEBERIT IN EKENÄS

Are you a communicative and driven leader with a passion for ceramic materials and operational excellence? We are looking for a Ceramic Technology Manager to lead our technical team and drive quality, performance and continuous improvement in our ceramic operations.

Our modern, highly automated factory in Ekenäs employs around 200 people and produces bathroom ceramics for brands such as IDO, Ifö, Porsgrund and Geberit.

MAIN TASKS

You lead a team of experts in casting, glazing, firing and laboratory work, ensuring stable processes, high quality and continuous improvement. You work closely with production, product development and quality, acting as a strong technical and communicative interface. Your responsibilities include

  • Leading and developing the ceramic technology team
  • Driving operational excellence through process optimization and loss reduction
  • Applying PDCA, Six Sigma or other structured problem-solving methodologies to improve quality and process stability
  • Communicating technical topics clearly and effectively to all stakeholders

PROFILE

You have a degree in Engineering (chemistry, materials science or production management preferred). We expect proven strong leadership skills, a clear drive for operational excellence and excellent communication skills, being able to translate technical complexity into clear actions. Experience from an international manufacturing environment is an advantage. You communicate fluently in Finnish and English; Swedish is a plus.
