JOB FUNCTION AND SCOPE

 

This position performs part inspections and testing to determine product conformity to requirements.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform visual inspections of product for conformance to established criteria.

2. Clean product as needed for processing preparation and inspection.

3. Set-up testing equipment according to instructions using various types of tools.

4. Perform functional or dimensional tests using specified equipment.

5. Determine piece counts of acceptable and rejected product.

6. Record inspection results on provided worksheets.

7. Package product per requirements.

8. Transport product to the designated next point of processing.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required:

A high school diploma or equivalent, and 2-5 years work experience
