Global Process Owner / Expert Procure‑to‑Pay P2P (m/f/d) 80-100%

MAIN TASKS

We are strengthening our global governance within Operational Finance & Shared Services. As Global Process Owner / Expert P2P, you will be the key architect of our global Procure‑to‑Pay process – responsible for standardising, documenting and continuously improving P2P across all group entities and Shared Service Centres (SSCs). You will play a pivotal role in reducing complexity, enabling automation and improving process quality, compliance and scalability across the organisation. In particular, your responsibilities include:

  • Define, further develop and govern the global end‑to‑end P2P process across all entities and SSCs
  • Analyse, map and document P2P processes (PO creation, approvals, invoice handling, matching)
  • Design and harmonise global standards (workflows, booking logic, vendor master governance, escalation rules)
  • Reduce local process variants and enable automation and scalability of the SSC set‑up
  • Define global KPIs (e.g. PO rate, touchless rate, First‑Time‑Right, GR/IR performance) and drive performance improvements
  • Support digitalisation initiatives and tool deployments in close collaboration with IT
  • Enable legal entities and SSCs through training, guidelines and a global P2P Community of Practice

PROFILE

You have a degree in a relevant business field and strong experience in P2P‑related areas. Your skills and qualifications include:

  • Several years of experience in P2P, Finance Operations, Accounting or Shared Services
  • Strong process expertise in SAP S/4HANA (MM, FI‑MM), experience with BLP is a plus
  • Proven ability to structure, document and harmonise complex end‑to‑end processes in an international environment
  • Experience in SSC/GBS environments and global transformation or roll‑in projects
  • Strong influencing skills within an international matrix organization
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and change‑management skills
  • Fluent English, German is an advantage
  • Experience with modelling tools such as Signavio or similar, as well as process mining or automation initiatives, is a strong plus
