Global Process Owner / Expert Record‑to‑Report R2R (m/f/d) 80-100%

MAIN TASKS

We are strengthening our global governance within Operational Finance & Shared Services. As Global Process Owner / Expert R2R, you will be the key architect of our global Record‑to‑Report process – responsible for standardising, documenting and continuously improving R2R across all group entities and Shared Service Centres (SSCs). You will play a pivotal role in ensuring audit‑ready, efficient and standardised closing, accounting and reporting processes worldwide. In particular, your responsibilities include:

  • Define, further develop and govern the global end‑to‑end R2R process across all entities and SSCs
  • Analyse, map and document R2R processes (Closing, Accounting, Reporting, Reconciliations, Intercompany)
  • Design and harmonise global standards (journal entries, valuation methods, chart of accounts logic, reconciliation standards)
  • Reduce local process variants and enable automation and quality improvements
  • Define global KPIs (e.g. closing days, reconciliation quality, manual journal entry rate) and drive performance improvements
  • Support digitalisation initiatives and tool deployments (e.g. closing solutions, reconciliation tools)
  • Enable legal entities and SSCs through training, guidelines and a global R2R Community of Practice

PROFILE

You have a degree in a relevant business field and strong experience in R2R‑related areas. Your skills and qualifications include:

  • Several years of experience in Accounting, R2R, Financial Reporting or Audit
  • Strong process expertise in SAP S/4HANA (FI/CO) and solid understanding of IFRS / Local GAAP
  • Proven ability to structure, document and harmonise complex end‑to‑end accounting and closing processes
  • Experience in SSC/GBS environments and global transformation or roll‑in projects
  • Strong influencing skills within an international matrix organization
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and change‑management skills
  • Fluent English, German is an advantage
  • Experience with modelling tools such as Signavio or similar, in process mining or automation initiatives in Finance, is a strong plus
