Retail Business Development Consultant

MAIN TASKS

The Retail Business Development Consultant is responsible for implementing sales strategies for the Retail sales channel in international markets (Middle East and Africa and Southeastern European countries). The main tasks in this position include:

  • Implement POS strategy in retail partner outlets
  • Design, establish, implement, and maintain exhibition modules of Geberit brand and products in retail partners’ showrooms according to Geberit standards (CI)
  • Develop and execute product and sales-oriented training for retail sales partners and their representatives & enable long-term execution of such training through internal retail teams
  • Research market trends, competitor information and benchmarks, and general industry movement and changes specific to the retail sales channel
  • Use of CRM for all sales-related activities (customer data, contact reports, activities, marketing etc.)
  • Support the market for suitable product selection and positioning
  • Support the implementation of marketing campaigns, sales promotions, events, and exhibitions

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION

  • Technical education in the field of sanitary technology
  • High level of presentation skills
  • Special knowledge: retail sales channel
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (i.e. French) are a plus
  • MS 365, MS Dynamics CRM
  • Communication capacities (capacity to establish interpersonal level)
  • Personal capacities (flexibility, technical skills, professional appearance, trustworthiness)
  • 3+ years in a similar position with a proven track record
  • Readiness to travel 20-30% within Middle East & Africa and Southeastern Europe
